REVIEW: The Same Sky by Amanda Eyre Ward

It’s been a 2015 of catching up on what I fell behind on during the 2014 holiday break and now I finally get to say I finished reading a novel in the new year. I can’t remember how exactly I heard about this one, but I got it through NetGalley, so likely it came through a promotional email they sent out. Regardless, I’m glad I applied for it, as it was a wonderful and touching read.

Pampers: My Tin Foil Diaper

As many of you know, I very recently, after an 8 year break, had another kid. This means that nearly a decade after I first began the parenting journey, I’m back to changing diapers, breastfeeding, and taking power naps like a champ.

I dealt with a lot of new things during my pregnancy due to my “advanced maternal age,” such as trigger finger, more ultrasounds, and other such unpleasant things. Now that I’ve officially transitioned to new parent again, I’ve got another ugly new problem to deal with: diaper sores.
